As I close in on level 100, I'm curious about what happens to the experience you earn after level 100 is reached. Does it just disappear? Is it saved until the level cap is increased? No one seems to be able to give me an answer.

This is the current level cap. That means no experience ("XP") is gained after that level. None is saved. You have the choice to continue to quest/duel, etc., or to wait for an increased level cap.
Well in that case, are they planning on increasing the level cap any time soon? I just hit 100 and haven't even finished Khrysalis part one... That is a huge chunk of experience that just goes to waste.
