I was playing with kids over the weekend, my daughter asked me what was the difference between the open and closed fist next to damage amounts on cards, jewels, gear...

I realized I did not know.

Help!

One symbol means the gear item has a chance of punching you in the face like Harry Potter's monster book and the other symbol means that risk is not present.

The open handed damage is just flat damage added on to your!attack

Say your spell does 100 damage and you have 10 open hand damage then your damage will be 110
