After defeating Grandfather Spider (Showdown with Spider quest) in the Sands of Time, when he starts talking, my screen froze and I was not able to move, type, or do anything. I was not alone, other wizards were there. I was not able to talk to them of see if they were talking to me. When I opened my book, the only thing I could do was exit. When I did this and came back into the game, I was outside the sigil and still had the quest to complete. I did this battle a second time, and had the same thing happen. This time, I asked a friend to help, and the same thing happened to her.
When I did it the third time, instead of exiting, I saw that I could navigate to Caravan and then click dungeon recall. It allowed me to run around Spider and collect Bartleby's eye and complete the quest.
