First thing you should do is turn off the Quest Helper. We have had some reports that this can slow some folks up if their character is level 110 and has completed the storyline.
If that doesn't work, please try the following:
1. Login to the game 2. Click on the options button located at the character selection screen. 3. Change the Resolution to a smaller resolution 4. Change the Graphics Detail setting to low 5. Change the Full Screen option to Off.
This should do the trick. If after doing this you are still having issues try moving to a less populated realm. Press the ESC key on your keyboard, click the Realms tab at the top left of the spellbook (it looks like two spheres next to each other), choose a Perfect realm, and click the Go To Realm button underneath it. You will be teleported to a less populated realm, which should improve the performance quite a bit. You may need to do this every time you log in.
