Grendelweed is not a reagent you can pick off the ground, but rather a rare harvest from Frost Flower. You can also transmute 15 Frost Flower into 1 Grendelweed, or buy it from Diego the Duelmaster for 175 Arena tickets, or buy Frost Flower and Grendelweed off the Bazaar.

You actually can sometimes find grendleweed, but frost flower is a much more common harvest. Helgrind Warren in Grizzleheim has a water area where the are plenty of frost flowers, just keep changing realms.
