Hey I got a question. So I just became a member so I was wondering in order to get really cool pets, wands and clothing and such do you, for the most part, have to buy crowns or as a member there will be many opportunities where you can get them from quests? If so is it rare? like do you mainly have to buy crowns for that stuff?
In general, the best gear is dropped by side dungeons or is crafted. Gear from the crown shop is almost never the best gear for your level. As for pets, you will want to hatch for a good pet as a first generation pet, whether dropped or bought from the crown shop, rarely has good talents. So for neither pets nor gear will you need to buy crowns.
Crowns can be helpful with a membership if you want to use second roll chests or buy a specific mount, although there are plenty of dropped and crafted mounts if you wish to save money.
