Im a Level 45 ice wiz and the spells and stuff there are level 50+ Is that average for me or do i need to go do a Side world such a Grizzleheim to level up?
So, as you suggested, consider doing side worlds; Grizzleheim and Wintertusk (especially). Grizzleheim won't yield much experience, but the later will.
Doing Wintertusk opens your wizard up to very useful gear, pets, experience and more importantly spells!
You're definitely under the average level. The average is usually 48, but it's MUCH easier if you're even higher level. Have you done all the side quests in other worlds?
I would suggest that, because Marleybone and Dragonspyre both have super high XP quests that will level you up quick.
If you've already done all the side quests then I would suggest doing a side world like Grizzleheim or Wysteria. Both are high XP quests.
