How do I gain gardening XP?

Hello wizards, I have a problem about gardening. Whenever I take care of my plants, I don't get XP, are there any tips?

Good Job in taking steps to start Gardening!

Now, you only earn Gardening Experience when you harvest a mature plant.

Elder harvest yields even a greater experience value.

Taking care of plants promotes their longevity and avails them for harvesting should they be ready. It does not contribute to Experience Gains.

But, if you're looking to earn quick Gardening Experience fast,

Try growing Key Limes and Pink Dandelions.

Both are easy to care for and can assist greatly in experience at young Gardening Levels.

Tending to needs and pests doesn't offer XP. You only get XP when you harvest plants. Elder harvests typically offer more XP than mature harvests.
