So i have a question. how does the basic ai for this game work? from the basic enemies from wizard city to dragonspyre from what i have gathered there should be something. does anyone actually know?

i want to know this information so i can bait ai for a challenge wiz i am doing

That's a good question, and a great one for asking on our KI Live livestreams!

I'll see if our resident expert on AI mechanics though can chime in the forums.

I recall a post from Pirate101 explaining their AI. Basically the game computes all possible moves and ranks them on how good it thinks they are. It throws the bottom X% out and then chooses randomly from the remainder. This lets the devs tweak difficulty by instructing the AI to toss out less moves (meaning more chances to pick a "worse" move) or more moves (meaning the AI is more likely to play optimally). I don't know if Wizard runs on a similar AI but I thought that might be interesting to you.
