I really wish this was an option, specifically for A) side quests you no longer want to do, and B), for main quests you can't access because you haven't bought the world with crowns/aren't a member. That way, you can have your quest place clutter free and be able to leave the Quest Tracker on for the ones you want to do. Also, you can just pick them back up when you CAN do them.
This is a pretty reoccurring topic, so you are not the first to mention this feature. I agree with this idea! I think that if you abandon the said quest you will gain nothing back in returns for the rewards. If anything their could be a new quest tab to where if the quest has already been started it will have an hourglass by the name saying “you currently have started this quest: are you sure you want to abandon it?” They should make that feature. Saves time if you accidentally accept a quest.
