I finished Mirage today and had a certain thought...I thought I heard the Chronical say something about how something wasn't right when Grandmother raven created the spiral. It had something to do with her using Old Cob's heart which was probably full of darkness and fury from being locked up by Grandmother Raven, thus probably creating Shadow? Maybe Grandmother Raven created shadow in a way by doing that. We haven't got much information on the First World and creation of the Spiral since the orbs quest in Krysalis and the Chronical in Mirage. I also remember when someone said Light cannot exist without shadow and maybe the same goes with the spiral.Grandmother Raven (light) created the shadow ( in Old cob's heart) when it could have been light used to create the spiral. Or maybe I don't know what I'm trying to say but this is all so interesting lol. Grandmother Raven is a mysterious character indeed!
