Can someone please explain henchmen to me? Who and what are they, and do I want or need them to help me? Thank you, Darby Dragonheart

I did not understand this for a long time either. Good job on asking. I wish I had!
When it is your turn in battle, click the Crown Shop icon on the top left of your screen.
Now you can choose a henchman. There are many different henchmen. Each has a different school and a different level of power, and comes with a different price tag.
The henchman can die in battle and if so will not renew. It will only last as long as that battle even if it lives.
Other than that it will fight just like any teammate would except you cannot communicate with them.
