Membership renewed early?

Last month I purchased a 1 month membership and it said it would auto renew on 6th May 2021. However, I’ve just been charged the second month today. This wouldn’t be a problem except I was planning on cancelling on 5th May and then repurchase at a later date when I have more time to play the game. Is this a mistake? Is there any way I can fix this?
