Is it no longer possible to buy a permanent mount for gold?
I can't find any in the crown shop. I know the big cats used to be available for gold.
There were rumors that KingsIsle being bought out would result in most of the fun game features costing additional real money. Is this a precursor to that?

You can definitely still buy permanent mounts, scroll down all the way in the permanent mount part of the crown shop and you can buy a about 6 or so (Black Stallion, Chestnut Pony, Blue Dragon, etc.)
