Charrlossus's item card isn't working

The new pet introduced in the Beastmoon Monster Mayhem event has an item card and it doesn't seem to work as intended. The card says: "440 Damage and %Shield to next Damage spell." The hit works but nothing relating to the shield seems to occur.

Hmm, that shield does have no amount assigned to it. Lol

Maybe someone at KI can tell us how much percentage that shield is supposed to be for?
