You might have to wait a bit for it to register, if it doesn't work within a day I suggest checking if the payment went through and if it did you should contact Kingsisle support.
Also it had to of worked as you can not post on the message boards if you are not a member. Please also remember you must complete the storyline in order to progress to other worlds and must be the appropriate level. You can also always email support if you have questions or concerns.
