My daily challenge said to defeat gloom fairy in village of sorrow. I looked and looked in village of sorrow but could not find any. I have been doing the daily challenges faithfully so I am bummed that I couldn't do this one. I do remember gloom fairies in MooShu but don't remember where.
I had trouble finding the gloom fairy in MooShu. By checking posts from 2016 I finally found it so for others who are looking, I'll pass this along. They are in village of sorrow mixed in with the ronins. You won't get credit for gloom fairy in ancient buriel grounds for the daily challenge. When you enter village of sorrow, just after you cross the bridge, look for them around where the transporter is located. If you don't see any, kill a ronin. The gloom fairy spawns in that area.
