When you're getting your robes for the cutscene, if your backpack is full, your graduation suit will just flow into your bank instead of being put on.

Lucky that it goes to your bank, but if your backpack and bank is full, will it be destroyed?

I think that might have happened to me. I can't be sure, though. It's been a while since I got there and I might have accidentally thrown a piece or two out.
