Text chat should be available to all players. I have an account that doesn't have text chat, with my main, and it's so hard to enjoy the game, when I cant even make friends to talk to. I'm over 13 and the game still wont allow me to say a single thing. Wiz always talks about making friends and stuff, but for people like me, the restrictions barely allow us to do any of that. I have to constantly solo because, I cant talk to people regularly, and even though we have team up , not everyone is doing the same one. All players should have the freedom to chat, with filter of course. I want to be able to play with people and level up together. If a kid plays, it's their parents decision whether they want it or not, and can change it anytime. We should all be allowed to be open with each other. Sorry if this is bad, I tried

Text chat is available to all players, regardless of age. It must be activated manually in the parental settings. As you made your account while under the age of 13 your account is COPPA protected and your age cannot be tracked - KI doesn't know you are now over 13. This is why it is still stuck on menu chat.
The best thing to do would be to let your parents know that you need them to change the setting for you through the master account. Explain that when an account is made by someone over 13 the default is text chat, but because you were younger it has to be authorised - this way they'll know text chat is normal at your age. Also reassure them it is still filtered and monitored, so they know it is safe. Let them know how important communication is in game for strategies and progressing your wizards. I'm sure they'll be open to enabling it for you
